Norwood, who starred opposite the late Whitney Houston in the most recent TV version of "Cinderella," is making her Broadway debut in the role of Roxie Hart. She is playing an eight-week limited engagement through June 21.
A Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress, Brandy Norwood has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, including such hits as “I Wanna Be Down” and “The Boy Is Mine.” As an actress, Norwood starred in her own sitcom, “Moesha,” and recently received a 2014 NAACP Image Award for her role as Chardonnay on BET’s “The Game.”
