Held in Fireman's Park (48th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue), the event benefited the UNICEF/Pampers One Pack = One Vaccine Program, an international initiative to protect women and babies from preventable disease.

Created in 2007 by Kelly Gonda, Broadway Kids Care brings children from various Broadway productions together to perform community service and raise funds for charitable causes.
Broadway Kids Care has also performed charitable work for the Freedom House, the Lillian Booth Actor's Home, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, as well as for soldiers currently serving in Iraq.
