Crossroads Live North America will produce a new, North American touring production of the Olivier- and Tony-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen in the fall.
The hit musical will launch its new tour in September. Tour stops currently include Dallas, Texas; St. Paul, Minnesota; Lincoln, Nebraska; Melbourne, Florida; and Sarasota, Florida with more cities to be announced. (Theatre Under the Stars announced March 14 that this new tour will kick off its 2024-2025 season.)
This non-Equity tour tour will be based on the original Broadway staging. Creative team members and casting will be announced at a later date.

Dear Evan Hansen features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story) and a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (tick, tick...BOOM! movie). The Broadway production featured choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), and direction by multiple Tony nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal).
Dear Evan Hansen opened on Broadway in December 2016, going on to win six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. A film version, starring original Evan, Tony winner Ben Platt, opened in theatres nationwide September 24, 2021.

The Broadway production played its final performance at the Music Box Theatre September 18, 2022. Dear Evan Hansen ended its run at London's Noël Coward Theatre October 22, 2022, nearly three years after its West End premiere on October 29, 2019.
The first national tour of Dear Evan Hansen, which launched in September 2018 in Denver, played its final performance in July 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina, at the Koger Center. The first touring production played 104 engagements. Ben Levi Ross opened the tour in the title role.
