Neil Patrick Harris, winner of the 2014 Tony Award as Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will materialize at Symphony Space in New York City December 4 to talk about one of his favorite subjects: magic.
Harris is scheduled to read from his debut young-adult novel The Magic Misfits, tell stories about his life, and share a few magic tips and tricks.
The book tells the story of six young magicians who band together to save their town from a gang of villainous carnies. Not merely a storybook, The Magic Misfits is “a treasure trove of secrets and ciphers and codes and even tricks.”
Symphony Space is located at 2537 Broadway (at 95th Street) in Manhattan. Tickets cost $17 to the public, $14 for Symphony Space members, plus a $5 service fee. They can be ordered here.
