MCC Theater's world premiere of Ana Nogueira's Which Way to the Stage begins previews April 14 at the Newman Mills Theater located in The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space. Opening night is set for May 10, and the show will run until May 22.
Directed by Mike Donahue, the show transports its audience back to 2015 and follows two Broadway fans waiting outside the If/Then stage door. The experience they have will change the course of their friendship.
Throughout the show's run, the theatre has scheduled talkbacks with the playwright, director, and casts, as well as four audience conversations and an open caption performance.
The show's cast includes Sas Goldberg (Significant Other), Max Jenkins (Unnatural Acts), Evan Todd (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), and Michelle Veintimilla (The Baker and the Beauty)
It features scenic design by Adam Rigg; costume design by Enver Chakartash; lighting design by Mextly Couzin and Jen Schriever; and sound design by Sinan Refik Zafar.
The creative team also includes vocal supervisor Liz Caplan, choreographer Paul McGill, and hair, wig, and makeup designer Domino Couture. The production stage manager is Alex H. Hajjar.
