The catalogue of Tony- and Pulitzer-winning playwright Marsha Norman has been acquired by the theatrical division of International Literary Properties, which works to enhance and manage literary and theatrical estates.
Norman's plays include the 1983 Pulitzer winner 'night, Mother, along with Getting Out, Third and Oak: The Laundromat, The Pool Hall, The Holdup, Traveler in the Dark, Sarah and Abraham, Loving Daniel Boone, Trudy Blue, and Last Dance. She won a Tony Award for her book to the 1991 musical The Secret Garden, to which she also contributed lyrics. Norman is also the book writer of The Color Purple and The Bridges of Madison County. Her screenwriting credits include Face of a Stranger, Cooler Climate, The Audrey Hepburn Story, Custody of the Heart, and Samantha, An American Girl, along with screen adaptations of her stage works 'night, Mother, The Laundromat, and The Pool Hall.
