Titanique opens its return engagement to New York at Off-Broadway's The Asylum Theatre June 23. Previews began June 14 for the musical parody, based on the James Cameron-directed blockbuster film. Performances are set to run through September 25.

The cast features Broadway veterans, including Marla Mindelle as Céline Dion, Constantine Rousouli as Jack, Frankie Grande as Victor Garber, Kathy Deitch as Molly Brown, Ryan Duncan as Ruth, Alex Ellis as Rose, John Riddle as Cal, and Jaye Alexander as The Iceberg. The ensemble features Courtney Bassett, Donnie Hammond and Dimitri Moise.

Céline Dion commandeers a tour group at the Titanic museum, telling the tour guests her eccentric take on the famous love story of Jack and Rose. Through the fictionalized version of the singer, the irreverent show fwatures popular songs from Dion's catalog such as "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More" to explain what really happened to and between the lovers. Titanique was co-written by Mindelle, Rousouli, and Tye Blue.

Blue directs the production, which features music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Nicholas Connell. They are joined on the creative team by Clarissa Marie Ligon as production stage manager, Rebecca Guskin as assistant stage manager, and Ellenore Scott as choreographer, and Eva Price as producer. Casting is by The Telsey Office's Rachel Hoffman and Henry Russell Bergstein.

The show originally premiered in Los Angeles in 2017 before transferring to New York City's The Green Room 42. The show also had a virtual concert performance livestreamed from Le Poisson Rouge during the shutdown.
