Molly Clifford will direct the new play about the relationship between two sisters.

Kate, a new play by Laura Lapidus, will receive an invitation-only 29-hour reading December 1 at Open Jar Studios in Manhattan.

The cast will feature Madeline Weinstein (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Alex Strangelove), Saamer Usmani (Inventing Anna, 3 Body Problem), and playwright Lapidus (Bad Jews).

Molly Clifford (Polylogues) will direct Kate, which follows Kate and Bianca, who share a secret language that makes them not only sisters, but best friends.
