Torrey Townsend's Jewish Plot, which will make its world premiere Off-Broadway at The Brick October 16-November 1, has found its full cast.

The company will include Neil D'Astolfo (Mister Miss America), Tess Frazer (The Perplexed), Eddie Kaye Thomas (The Wanderers), and Madeline Weinstein (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child). Casting is by X Casting's Victor Vazquez.

The work follows Townsend as he dedicates five years of his life to adapting the fictional I.W. Bruntmole's melodrama Jewish Plot, which recounts Jewish life and prejudice in the London of the 1880s. The meta work depicts the playwright reconstructing the play, which ultimately means coming to terms with his own Jewish identity against the backdrop of the theatre industry's craving for authenticity.

The production will feature scenic design by Frank J. Oliva, sound design by Peter Mills Weiss, costume design by Caity Mulkearns, and lighting design by Jordan Barnett.

Sarah Hughes will direct. Lucas Katler Productions is producing. Tickets are at JewishPlot.com.
