MacLaine Directing Sinise in Bruno Film Former Broadway dancer Shirley MacLaine is making her film directing debut with Bruno, a movie currently shooting in Delaware and North Carolina. MacLaine, who also played the title role in the film of Sweet Charity, co-stars in Bruno with Steppenwolf Theatre associate Gary Sinise and Julia Roberts.
AP reported that the film is about an 8-year-old spelling bee champion who tries his hand at sports.
