The Agatha Christie thriller The Mousetrap, which celebrated its 30,000th performance in the West End in March, welcomes a new cast to London's St. Martin's Theatre November 10.

The company is now led by Georgina Fairbanks as Mollie Ralston, Cai Brigden as Giles Ralston, Joshua Riley as Christopher Wren, Nicky Goldie as Mrs. Boyle, Christopher Wright as Major Metcalf, Kate Handford as Miss Casewell, Stephen Ventura as Mr. Paravicini, and Thomas Dennis as Detective Sgt. Trotter. Completing the cast are Clive Marlowe, Richard Parnwell, Saranna Parlone, and Cathryn Sherman.

Producer Brian Fenty has also welcomed theatre, film, and opera director Ola Ince as the new director of Christie’s iconic thriller.

Ince was the international associate director of Tina—Tina Turner the Musical, creating, casting, and directing the productions in London, Hamburg, Broadway, and Utrecht alongside Phyllida Lloyd from 2018-2020. She was artistic associate at the Lyric Hammersmith and Theatre Royal Stratford East in 2016 and the artistic associate at the Royal Court Theatre from 2018-2022. Ince has also worked at the Royal Opera House, Donmar Warehouse, Young Vic, Royal Court, National Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and Broadway's Lunt-Fontane Theatre.

Ince said in a statement, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining The Mousetrap family! It’s been such a joy stepping into the legendary world of Agatha Christie. Over the past few months, I’ve been so grateful for the knowledge, stories, and passion that have been generously shared with me. Together, the brilliant cast and I have laughed, debated, and marveled in awe at the magic of The Mousetrap. We can’t wait to share that magic with audiences!”

Producer Fenty added, "I’m genuinely thrilled to welcome Ola Ince to The Mousetrap. Ola is a force of nature—a director who understands what it means to be both a steward of history and a challenger of complacency. Her creative instinct is first-class, and her care and love for Agatha Christie’s world is as heartening as it is inspiring."

In the play, adapted from the novel of the same name, a group of seven strangers find themselves snowed in at Monkswell Manor as news spreads of a London murder. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover that a killer is in their midst.

The Mousetrap premiered at Theatre Royal Nottingham in 1952 and toured the U.K. before opening in the West End, where it has been playing for more than 70 years.

In 2022, it was announced that The Mousetrap would come to Broadway. The producers behind the West End production of the play initially said the work would bow on the Main Stem in 2023, but a Broadway production has yet to materialize.

The Mousetrap is produced by Brian Fenty, and the artistic director is Denise Silvey. The genre-defining murder mystery is currently booking tickets through October 2026.
