Nominations have been announced for London's Evening Standard Theatre Awards, set to be handed out November 19 at Claridge's.

Bridge Theatre's immersive Guys and Dolls revival is one of the most recognized productions, earning nods in the Best Design, Emerging Talent, Director, Musical, and Musical Performance categories, the latter for Broadway vet Marisha Wallace's performance as Miss Adelaide. Tony winner Nicholas Hytner's new take on the Frank Loesser-Abe Burrows-Jo Swerling musical has been a major success for the new company, which is currently booking through August 2024.

The recently opened minimalist revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard failed to get a nomination for Best Musical, but picked up nods for Nicole Scherzinger's performance as Norma Desmond and Jamie Lloyd's direction. Also getting recognition: Elton John's Tammy Faye musical, Michael R. Jackson's Tony- and Pulitzer-winning A Strange Loop, and more.

Established in 1955, the Evening Standard Theatre Awards are the U.K.'s oldest theatre honors, and thought to be the British equivalent to New York's Drama Desk Awards.
