A third and final extension has been announced for the London production of In the Heights, which has been playing at the King's Cross Theatre since October 2015, after transferring from Southwark Playhouse. Performances will now continue through January 8, 2017.

Original cast member Sam Mackay (pictured left) continues as Usnavi with Gabriela Garcia as Nina, Olivier winner David Bedella as Kevin, Norma Attallah as Abuela, Jonathan Bishop as Graffiti Pete and Vas Constanti as Piragua Guy.

They will be newly joined from September 16 by Arun Blair-Mangat as Benny, Juliet Gough as Camilla and Stephanie Rojas as Carla. Sarah Naudi, who has been with the show since it opened at the Southwark Playhouse in 2014, will play the role of Vanessa, and Damian Buhagiar returns to the production as Sonny, having originated the role in 2014.

The cast is completed by Reiss Hinds, Chritopher Tendai, Michael Cortez, Shanice Burton, Raffaella Covino, Genesis Lynea, Alex Thomas and Tara Young.

In the Heights is directed by Luke Sheppard and choreographed by Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie, with musical supervision by Tom Deering, set design by takis, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Howard Hudson and sound design by Gareth Owen. Casting is by Will Burton.

The musical features a score by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes.
