Following a Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur Genius Grants, and three fourths of an EGOT, Lin-Manuel Miranda has picked up another accolade: a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hamilton creator is among the Walk of Fame’s 2018 honorees, alongside Weird Al Yankovic (whom Miranda has cited as an inspiration), Tony winner Mandy Patinkin, RuPaul, Taraji P. Henson, Jennifer Lawrence, Shonda Rhimes, and more, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Miranda happened to be with Yankovic at the time of the announcement—check out their immediate reaction below.

Miranda will appear alongside Emily Blunt in Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns, set to be released on Christmas Day, 2018. His additional upcoming projects include collaborating with Alan Menken on a live-action The Little Mermaid and developing TV and film adaptations of The Kingkiller Chronicle. The Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner also recently revealed to The Daily Mail that he is open to starring in the West End engagement of Hamilton in the future.
