Monica Lewinsky has testified that she and Bill Clinton had an intimate relationship, a relationship admitted to by the President. The story captured the nation's attention, but is it good drama? Oct. 21, New Dramatists will present "Rewriting Lewinsky," a public discussion and rehearsed reading of Lewinsky's transcripts that will look at the testimony as theatre.
"Rewriting Lewinsky" is the first in New Dramatist's Pen and Swill, a forum for public discussion among playwrights and their artistic colleagues.
The event is free and will last from 6 PM-8 PM. For those who still can't get enough of this story, the reservation number is (212) 757-6960. New Dramatists is located at 424 West 44th Street in Manhattan.
