Ink & Paint embodies exactly why we started Newport NewWorks,” said Co-Artistic Director Peilin Chou in a statement. “It’s a bold, emotionally resonant new musical that amplifies historically overlooked voices, and it flourished in the collaborative, artist centered environment we’re committed to building. Bringing this piece to New York feels like a natural next step in its journey.”
