Stage and screen stars are singing a new anthem to help raise money for research efforts in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
Tony nominee Laura Osnes (Bandstand), Gideon Glick (Spring Awakening), Christy Altomare (Anastasia), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton) and Sarah Levy (Netflix’s Schitt’s Creek) have contributed their voices to “Anyway,” an original song about persevering in the face of disease. The song was written by Elizabeth Phillipson-Weiner, a musician and composer who suffers from Crohn’s Disease.
The effort is led by Emily’s Entourage, a non-profit that works to accelerate research for nonsense mutations of Cystic Fibrosis, which affects more than 70,000 people worldwide.
