Cynthia Erivo is the host of the 2025 Tony Awards, but after she gets off the stage at Radio City Music Hall, she'll start work on her next theatre project: Dracula on the West End, where she will play all the characters.
“I needed an extraordinary performer to take on Dracula. Cynthia is a once-in-a-generation artist," Dracula director Kip Williams told Playbill. “It’s a very queer retelling of the story, and we are looking at reclaiming the vampire.”
Dracula will begin performances at London's Noël Coward Theatre February 4, 2026, and run through May 31 for a strictly limited 16-week engagement. Williams is currently Tony-nominated for his direction of The Picture of Dorian Gray, which is nominated for six Tonys. It is currently running at the Music Box Theatre, starring 2025 Tony nominee Sarah Snook.
