Previews begin Off-Broadway September 7 for Julia Jarcho’s Marie It’s Time at HERE’s Mainstage Theatre. Created and produced by Minor Theater, the limited run opens September 9 with performances scheduled through September 24.

Described as a “fucked-up mixtape,” the three-person show follows performers Julia Jarcho and Jennifer Seastone as they fight for the role of Marie. The work, inspired by Georg Büchner’s 1913 play Woyzeck, also features Kedian Keohan as Major.

Ásta Bennie Hostetter directs the production, which features original music composition by Jarcho and Jeff Aaron Bryant, sound design by Ben Williams and Elliot Yokum, set design by Meredith Ries, costume design by Hahnji Jang, and lighting design by Ebony Burton.
