Bad Jews follows two cousins: Daphna, a self-proclaimed "real Jew" with an Israeli boyfriend, and Liam, whose girlfriend Melody is not Jewish. Daphna and Liam get into a big fight over who can claim their grandfather's necklace, launching a comedic exploration into important questions about family, faith, and legacy.
The cast stars Rosie Yadid as Daphna, Charlie Beaven as Jonah, Olivia Le Anderson as Melody, and Ashley Margolis as Liam, all in their West End debuts. Joining them are Danny Becker and Ellie Sager.
Jon Pashley directs this production of Bad Jews, which made its premiere in New York in 2012, and subsequently transferred to the U.K. for a national tour and two sold-out West End runs. The original production's creative team featured director Michael Longhurst, designer Richard Kent, lighting designer Richard Howell, and sound designer Adrienne Quartly.
Bad Jews is presented by Simon Friend, Gavin Kalin, and Keren Misgav.
