Joe Posa will be Joan Rivers in Joan Rivers (a)Live at The Green Room 42 November 25. Reportedly Rivers' favorite impersonator, Posa will use the show to mark the late comedian's 90th birthday. The evening will also stream live.
A portion of proceeds will go to Rivers' favorite charity, God's Live We Deliver. The non-profit cooks and delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
The performance is part of Posa's national tour. Following the New York evening, performances are set in Key West, London, and more.
Posa is an accomplished musical theatre actor, having appeared onstage in West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Grease, South Pacific, and Anything Goes. His screen credits include Rooftops, Scent of a Woman, Carlito's Way, Night and the City, The Associate, The Mirror Has Two Faces, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and The Sopranos.
