The new season at Los Angeles' Soraya will launch September 28–29 with Randy Newman’s FAUST: The Concert.

Javier Muñoz (Hamilton, In the Heights) and Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) will star in the two concerts with additional casting to be announced.

In 1995, Randy Newman released his ninth studio album, Randy Newman’s FAUST, basing it on Goethe's classic story with modern references. In Newman's version, Faust is a student at the University of Notre Dame. Michael Greif directed the musical's world premiere in September 1995 at La Jolla Playhouse.

The upcoming season at The Soraya will also include holiday concerts with Lea Salonga, Defying Gravity: An Evening with Stephen Schwartz & Friends, and more.
