Playbill and the Playbill Podcast is bringing with Broadway to New York Comic Con October 9–12. We are also announcing the final list of participants over the weekend, including who will be speaking in the panel for the upcoming Broadway production of The Lost Boys. Plus, comedian Jackie Hoffman will speak at Playbill's Big Broadway Nerd Panel.
Hosted by Zachary Quinto, the Lost Boys panel (October 12 at 11:00 AM) will include recently announced cast members Ali Louis Bourzgui (who will play David), Maria Wirries (Star) and LJ Benet (Michael Emerson), with previously announced guests Patrick Wilson (producer), and Michael Arden (director).
The Warner Bros. cult classic comes to Broadway next spring as one of the most anticipated musicals of the season. Join producer Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring, Watchmen), Tony Award–winning director Michael Arden (Maybe Happy Ending), and additional residents of Santa Carla as they discuss bringing Joel Schumacher’s beloved coming-of-age vampire film to the stage. Attendees will hear the show’s first public performance by LJ Benet and experience the music video premiere of the newly released single, “Have to Have You.” The Lost Boys: A New Musical features music and lyrics by The Rescues (Kyler England, Adrianne Gonzalez, and Gabriel Mann), and a book by David Hornsby (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Chris Hoch.
