London News It's, Like, Casting From England; West End Mean Girls Finds Its Full Cast

The transfer of the Broadway and big screen hit is set to open at the Savoy Theatre this summer.

Casting has been revealed for the upcoming West End premiere of Mean GirlsThe hit musical adaption of the beloved 2004 film transfers on the heels of the big screen release of the movie musical adaption, adapted from the 2018 Broadway musical. The West End bow will begin performances at the Savoy Theatre June 5, with an official gala opening set for June 26.

Mean Girls, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, features a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. The Broadway production was nominated for 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Lorne Michaels and Sonia Friedman are producing the London bow.

The cast will include Charlie Burn (Les Misérables) as Cady Heron, Georgina Castle (Dirty Dancing, Elf the Musical) as Regina George, Elèna Gyasi (SIX) as Gretchen Wieners, Grace Mouat (The Great British Bake Off Musical) as Karen Smith, Elena Skye (Les Misérables) as Janis Sarkisian, Tom Xander (The Book of Mormon) as Damian Hubbard, Daniel Bravo (Cruel Intentions) as Aaron Samuels, Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Mamma Mia) as Kevin Ganatra, Ako Mitchell (The Sound of Music) as Mr. Duvall, and Zoë Rainey (Made in Dagenham) as Mrs. Norbury, Mrs. George, and Ms. Heron.

They will be joined onstage by Tia Antoine-Charles, Georgia Arron, Liam Buckland, Shonah Buwu, Baylie Carson, Freddie Clements, Siobhan Diffin, Clíona Flynn, Fergie Fraser, Angus Good, Jenny Huxley-Golden, Holly Liburd, Corey Mitchell, Mervin Noronha, Aharon Rayner, Trézel Sergeant, Josh Singleton, Annie Southall, Lillia Squires, Tommy Wade-Smith, and Holly Willock.

Mean Girls features set design by Scott Pask, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Brian Ronan, video design by Finn Ross and Adam Young, hair design by Josh Marquette, make-up design by Milagros Medina-Cerdeira, and music supervision by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The West End production will also include costume design by Katrina Lindsay,  casting by Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting.
