Beau Dermott, an aspiring 12-year-old singer, performed the Wicked anthem “Defying Gravity” at a recent audition for Britain's Got Talent, dazzling the judges and the audience by her powerful voice.



Idina Menzel, who introduced the song in the original Broadway company of the Stephen Schwartz musical, winning a Tony for her portrayal of Elphaba, recently commented on the performance via Twitter, writing, "OMG!! @BeauDermott you gave me chills with your performance of Defying Gravity!!"
