Multiple Tony winner Harvey Fierstein, whose revival of Torch Song is currently in previews at the Hayes Theater, is the latest addition to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Broadway Legends ornament collection.
Fierstein follows ornaments depicting Carol Burnett, Julie Andrews, Carol Channing, Angela Lansbury, Patti LuPone, Liza Minnelli, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera, Barbra Streisand, and Gwen Verdon.
This year’s ornament, designed for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by artist Glen Hanson with the Christopher Radko Company, features Fierstein in one of his Tony-winning roles: Hairspray's Edna Turnblad. The glass ornament measures six inches.
