Gonzalez's return to the esteemed venue, entitled Everything I Know: Mandy Gonzalez Sings Lin-Manuel Miranda, marked her first performance at the venue since beating cancer, wrapping up her multi-year run as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton, and launching her Fearless middle-grade book series. The evening served as a powerful, full-circle moment for Gonzalez's journey, and a heartfelt celebration of Miranda, whose long-time working relationship with Gonzalez traces back to her originating the role of Nina in In the Heights.
Gonzalez performed several numbers from Miranda's extensive songwriting catalogue, including a medley from Hamilton, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, plus songs from In the Heights, Vivo,Moana, and many more.
The evening included guest appearances and performances by Christopher Jackson, pianist Dan Lipton, Philippe Arroyo, the R.Evolución Latina Community Choir directed by Heather Hogan, and the Susan E. Wagner High School Concert Chorus directed by Keith Waage.
