Alex Edelman's Just for Us is playing a second Off-Broadway encore run at Greenwich House Theater, directed by Adam Brace, recently extended through September 2.
In Just For Us, Edelman shares personal tales about his brother AJ, an Olympian athlete, and having an unconventional holiday season in the stand-up show. At the core of the show, however, is Edelman's personal experiences with anti-Semitism, his decision to crash a New York City gathering of White Nationalists incognito, and the aftermath of that encounter.
Just for Us made its sold-out Off-Broadway premiere at Cherry Lane Theatre with a run that ended February 19. Following its premiere, it had its first encore engagement at SoHo Playhouse with a run through April 30.
Edelman first presented the show in 2018 at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. It then transferred to London's Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, earning a Barry Award nomination and the Herald Angel Award along the way. Mike Birbiglia serves as producer.
