The creators and stars of the one-night-only performance of the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical concert at The Kennedy Center have taken to social media to share behind-the-scenes looks at the event. 

Written by the Grammy Award-winning duo Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, the July 26 concert starred Broadway veterans Kelli O'Hara, Ephraim Sykes, Denée Benton, and more, as well as the The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Reineke. Special guests included Solea Pfeiffer, Micaela Diamond, Jason Gotay, and Darlesia Cearcy

Barlow and Bear originally created the musical concept for social media and garnered more than 36 million likes on TikTok. Ultimately, The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical was released as an album—which won the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album—with 15 songs based on the Netflix hit.

The concert features direction by Sammi Cannold and producing by AMP Worldwide in partnership with Discovering Broadway. Elizabeth Armstrong serves as executive producer. Casting is by Ally Kiley.
