The in-development musical Noir—written by Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Kyle Jarrow (The SpongeBob Musical)—has released five preview videos of songs from its score featuring Broadway favorites Christy Altomare, Adam Kantor, and Voltaire Wade-Greene. Watch Altomare and Kantor perform "Spy in the Shadows" above.
The new work takes its inspiration from the classic film genre, telling an original story of a home-bound man who becomes obsessed with listening to his neighbors through the walls of his apartment. The work—which features a book by Jarrow, music by Sheik, and lyrics by both—made its world premiere at Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, and is currently planning a New York run, to be announced.
