Rochester, New York's OFC Creations has unveiled its upcoming 2025-2026 Broadway in Brighton series, which includes a run of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical starring Garrett Clayton (Teen Beach MovieHairspray Live) in the title role. Performances will run December 18-January 4, 2026, at the OFC Creations Theatre Center.

The production is the company's latest star-driven production, most recently including a revival of Gypsy starring Jodi Benson.

The Grinch musical features a book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin.

The season will kick off with James Graham, Gary Barlow, and Eliot Kennedy's Finding Neverland, making the company among the first regional theatres to present the title since its 2015 Broadway run. Adapted from the film and play, the work centers on the creation of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, including the surprising inspiration behind the cherished favorite.

Next up will be the regional premiere of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas: The Musical, running November 26-December 7. Adapted from the cult hit Jim Henson TV special, the work features a book by Timothy Allen McDonald and Christopher Gattelli, and songs by Paul Williams.

Following The Grinch, OFC will present Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's Hello, Dolly!, running January 29-February 15, 2026; and The Bodyguard, running April 9-26, 2026. Casting for both is to be announced.

The season will close with a world premiere Golden Girls parody musical Over the Rainbow, running May 14-31, 2026. The comedy mixes the world of the classic sitcom and L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz, with Dorothy Zbornak taken to Oz via a Miami hurricane. There she finds a scarecrow from St. Olaf in search of a brain, a sultry Southern Tin-Belle in search of a heart, and a sharp-tongued lioness named Sophia looking for some courage. The project is conceived, written, and directed by OFC Artistic Director Eric Vaughn Johnson. The cast will feature Johnson as Dorothy, Hunter Ekberg as Rose, Eric Schutt as Blanche, and Shawn Gray as Sophia, along with Paul Urriola, Ben Reiner, and Calvin Starpoli.
