News Fox Sets Season Finale Dates for "American Idol," "Glee" and More Fox has announced season finale dates for its 2011-12 lineup. The hit musical comedy "Glee" will conclude its third season May 22, and the reality singing competition "American Idol" will have a two-night grand finale May 22-23.

As previously announced, "Glee" will return to Tuesday nights beginning April 10 at 8 PM ET. The season finale will air at a special time, 9 PM ET, following the first part of the "American Idol" finale.

"American Idol" will continue live two-hour performance shows every Wednesday at 8 PM ET. The finale will begin May 22 at 8 PM ET; the May 23 two-hour broadcast, in which the newest "American Idol" will be crowned, will air from 8 PM-10:07 PM.

Additionally, Fox's "House" will conclude its series after an eight-season run May 21. A one-hour retrospective will air at 8 PM ET and will be followed by the series finale at 9 PM ET.
