The show is directed by Gordon Greenberg.

According to organizers, "Filles de Joie is an evening of vintage European Cabaret, performed by chanteuses direct from the stages of Broadway, London and Paris. A play on the French idiom for ladies of the evening, Filles de Joie transports you to the sensual clubs of Europe, celebrating the sophisticated sounds and subversive ideas of the era. Expect to hear Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Kurt Weill, Marlena Dietrich, Cole Porter and more. Presented in conjunction with Kiki De Montparnasse." Greenberg (Working, Pirates!, Single Girls Guide, Band Geeks) said there is hope that the evening will appear in London and Berlin.

Soho House was founded in London, in 1995, as a private members' club for those in film, media and creative industries. Soho House has since expanded to include Houses across Europe and North America, as well as restaurants, cinemas, spas and hotels. Soho House New York is a private members' club and hotel in Manhattan's Meatpacking District.
