Rehearsals are underway for Adam Seidel's new drama Original Sound, which begins performances Off-Broadway at Cherry Lane Theatre April 30. Original Rent star Wilson Jermaine Heredia stars in Elena Araoz-directed production, along with Anthony Arkin, Cynthia Bastidas, Jane Bruce, Sebastian Chacon, and Lio Mehiel.
Described as "a fierce, funny, musical journey through the heart of an unforgiving industry," Original Sound follows a young Nuyorican beat maker who calls out a rising pop star for ripping off his track. Performances are scheduled through June 8.
