The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) premiere of Ella Hickson’s Wendy & Peter Pan begins performances in London October 21.
Directed by Jonathan Munby, the piece is a fresh take on the J.M. Barrie classic, playing the Barbican Theatre through November 22, with opening night set for October 28.
The production stars Toby Stephens as Captain Hook/Mr. Darling, Lolita Chakrabarti as Mrs. Darling, Daniel Krikler as Peter Pan, Charlotte Mills as Tink and Hannah Saxby as Wendy.
The principal players are supported by Joe Anthony as Shadow, James Berkery as Shadow, Kazmin Borrer as Shadow, Lili-Evangeline Bryden as Shadow, Harrison Claxton as Shadow/Doctor/Crocodile, Christopher Jeffers as Peter’s Shadow, Joe Hewetson as Martin the Cabin Boy, Scott Karim as Smee, Alexander Kranz as Shadow, Max Lauder as Slightly, Meg Matthews as Swing Shadow, Kwaku Mills as Michael Darling, Alexander Molony as Tom Darling, Kyle Ndukuba as Tootles, Guy Rhys as Doc Swain, Hadley Smith as Knock Bone Jones, John Sodiq Akanmu as Skylights/Swing Shadow, Ami Tredrea as Tiger Lily, Marcello Walton as Murt the Bat, Fred Woodley Evans as John Darling, and Tom Xander as Curly.
