Originally scheduled through January 7, the return Off-Broadway engagement of Bright Colors and Bold Patterns has now been extended four times. The show currently stars Jeff Hiller, who took over from Droege beginning January 17. Hiller (Nightcap, 30 Rock, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) will play his final performance April 1, and Droege will be back in the show April 5–9.

After playing sold-out runs in Los Angeles and two Off-Broadway engagements last year, Bright Colors and Bold Patterns kicked off a return Off-Broadway run at SoHo Playhouse November 12, 2017.

Directed by Michael Urie, the solo play details the events leading up to a couple’s wedding in Palm Springs. But as the evening spirals into a drunken, drug-fueled scream riot, one of the guests becomes more and more furious about a stipulation on the wedding invitation: “Please refrain from wearing bright colors or bold patterns.”
