The Theatre Royal Bath production of Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge, starring BAFTA winner Dominic West (The Wire, The Crown, The Affair), Olivier and Tony nominee Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Macbeth, London Road) and BAFTA winner Callum Scott Howells, (It’s A Sin, Cabaret), will transfer to London's West End later this year.
The production will play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket May 23 through August 3. The West End run will follow an already sold-out engagement at Theatre Royal Bath, which runs from February 16 to March 16.
The cast also includes Nia Towle (The Ocean at the End of the Lane) and Martin Marquez (Hotel Babylon, Les Miserables), with additional casting to be announced.
Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge tells the story of Brooklyn laborer and family man Eddie Carbone, whose possessive love of his niece prompts the destruction of his world and ideals. The Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright is one of the most highly regarded playwrights of the 20th Century.
Presented by Theatre Royal Bath Productions, with Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment, A View from the Bridge will be directed by Lindsay Posner, designed by Peter McKintosh, and feature lighting designs by Paul Pyant.
