The Public Theater is bringing out some special items from its archives for a new exhibition beginning July 28 and continuing through August 30.

Costumes from A Chorus Line and Hamilton—along with pieces from Shakespeare in the Park productions worn by such artists as Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, Danai Gurira, Kevin Kline, and Peter Dinklage—are now on display in the Shiva Theater.

The showing is curated by Luke McDonough, the Public's former director of costumes, with assistance from Vanessa Watters (the current director of costumes) and associate director Melinda Basaca.

The exhibit is free of charge and doesn't require tickets, registration, or appointment. Opening hours are available at PublicTheater.org.
