Fresh off her Tony-nominated performance in A Doll’s House, Part 2, Condola Rashad returns to Broadway as Joan of Arc in George Bernard Shaw's tale of heroism and betrayal, Saint Joan.
Joining her in the Manhattan Theatre Club revival are Adam Chanler-Berat (Amélie), Patrick Page (Casa Valentina) Graceland's Daniel Sunjata (The Country House), and Jack Davenport (Smash).
Tony winner Daniel Sullivan directs the production, which begins previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre April 3 ahead of an April 25 opening.

Completing the cast are Chicago director Walter Bobbie, who returns to Broadway as an actor for the first time in 20 years, John Glover (The Cherry Orchard), Maurice Jones (Linda), Russell G. Jones (Ruined), Max Gordon Moore (Indecent), Matthew Saldivar (Important Hats of the 20th Century), Robert Stanton (Fuddy Meers), and Lou Sumrall (Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune).
Set in 15th-century France, Saint Joan (last seen on Broadway in 1993) recounts the story of a peasant girl who claimed to hear the voices of saints directing her to help the Dauphin of France drive the English out of the country. While she was successful in battle, she was ultimately betrayed and tried for heresy.
The design team for the MTC production will include Scott Pask (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Justin Townsend (lighting design), Obadiah Eaves (sound design), Christopher Ash (projections), Tom Watson (hair and wig design), Bill Frisell (original music), Deborah Hecht (dialect coach), and Tommy Kurzman (make-up).
