Sacramento Music Circus has announced further casting for its summer season, which will feature productions of Beauty and the Beast, On the Town, 9 to 5, Damn Yankees, and Sister Act. The new wave of casting additions includes Clyde Alves, who will reprise the role of Ozzie in On the Town—a role he played on Broadway—alongside Jennifer Cody, who will play Hildy Esterhazy.
Also tapped for On the Town (July 11–16) are Sam Lips as Gabey, Matt Loehr as Chips, Courtney Iventosch as Ivy Smith, and Holly Ann Butler as Claire De Loone.
The newly announced principal cast of 9 to 5 (July 25–30) includes Vicki Lewis as Violet, Anne Brummel as Doralee, Tricia Paoluccio as Judy, Paul Schoeffler as Franklin Hart Jr., and Kristine Zbornik as Roz.
The cast of Damn Yankees (August 8–13) will feature Jason Graae as Applegate, Lindsay Roginski as Lola, Zach Trimmer as Joe Hardy, Lynne Wintersteller as Meg Boyd, Jeff Howell as Joe Boyd, Stephen Berger as Van Buren, Danette Holden as Gloria Thorpe, Ron Wisniski as Welch, Dallas Padoven as Rocky, Justin Keyes as Smokey, and Kim Arnett as Doris.
The season will conclude with Sister Act (August 22–27), featuring Zonya Love as Deloris, Lynne Wintersteller as Mother Superior, Nikki Switzer as Sister Mary Patrick, Audrie Neenan as Sister Mary Lazarus, Jeanna De Waal as Sister Mary Robert, and Rufus Bonds Jr. as Curtis Jackson.
As previously reported, the season will open with Beauty and the Beast, starring In Transit’s James Snyder as the Beast alongside Jessica Grové (Sunday in the Park with George) as Belle.
