News Cathy Rigby Soars Again in Peter Pan, Starting June 21 at Pittsburgh CLO News of Cathy Rigby's retirement from her signature role of Peter Pan just isn't true: She'll play the boy who wouldn't grow up at Pittsburgh CLO June 21-July 2 at the Benedum Center.

The musical adapted from J.M. Barrie's play and novel has songs by Mark Charlap, Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Jule Styne. Mary Martin originally starred in the musical on Broadway.

Rigby earned a Tony Award nomination when she starred in the 35th anniversary production of Peter Pan on Broadway. She toured the nation with the show.

The CLO cast includes Tom Hewitt (Captain Hook/Mr. Darling), Elisa Sagardia (Wendy Darling), Barbara McCulloh (Mrs. Darling) Michael Nostrand (Smee), John Hickok (Starkey), Brian Brazon (John Darling) and Joseph Serafini (Michael Darling).

Glenn Casale, who directs, was nominated for a Tony Award for his direction of the Broadway production of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby.
