After several regional and touring productions, Touching the Void will bring several of its original cast members to the West End for its previously announced transfer.

Fiona Hampton, Patrick McNamee, and Josh Williams will all return, with Angus Yellowlees joining the troupe of actors. The production begins performances at the Duke of York's Theatre November 9 with an opening set for November 14.

Based on Joe Simpson’s memoir of the same name, Touching the Void follows the writer’s journey mountaineering through Peru’s Andres range after he fell into a ravine and broke his leg.

The novel was adapted by David Greig for the stage with this upcoming production directed by Tom Morris. Designs are provided by Ti Green, sound by Jon Nicholls, lighting by Chris Davey, and stage movement by Sasha Milavic Davies.
