The Unauthorized Musical Parody series, originally presented at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles, will continue with a mash-up of the 1975 blockbuster film Jaws and Mike White's HBO Max series White Lotus.

Written by Kate Pazakis and directed by Dani Davis, The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Jaws at the White Lotus will be presented July 30 at 4 PM at The Madison Fire Island Pines in New York.

The cast will feature Jimmy Ray Bennett, Nick Cearley, Michelle Dowdy, Emily McNamara, and Pazakis. Attendees can expect a song-filled parody that will have them "swimming in nostalgia and Jennifer Coolidge quotes."

The afternoon, produced by Mike Cruz and Davis, also has arrangements by Christopher Jahnke, musical direction by Lance Horne, associate musical direction by Kevin Quill, and props by Mary Beth Travis. The associate producer is Georgia Monroe.

Producer Cruz says, “I am overjoyed to be bringing UMPO to Fire Island for The Madison’s first fully produced show. The Pines won’t know what hit them when Kate Pazakis makes her triumphant return to New York! The Madison Fire Island Pines is The White Lotus of The Pines, so there is no better setting on the island for such hilarity to ensue. With this cast’s talents, we’re gonna need a bigger boat!”
