News Carol Burnett Bringing Evening of Laughter and Reflection to New York Famed comedic actress Carol Burnett, whose Evening of Laughter and Reflection sold out its upcoming extended engagement at the Chicago Theatre in the Windy City, will bring the show to New York's Beacon Theatre this September.

Burnett will give two performances, Sept. 16 and 17 at 8 PM.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 11 at 10 AM through Ticketmaster by phone at (866) 858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets will be available in person starting Feb. 12 at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and The Beacon Theatre box offices.

The show is described thus: "During An Evening of Laughter and Reflection, Burnett will take questions from the audience, in a format that harkens back to the legendary openings of 'The Carol Burnett Show' where her studio audience had an unfiltered opportunity to engage Carol with questions and receive spontaneous answers."

"I love the spontaneity of these evenings," said Burnett in a statement. "I never know what anyone is going to ask, or say, or do, so it keeps me on my toes!"

On Broadway TV icon Burnett has appeared in Once Upon a Mattress, Fade Out—Fade In, Moon Over Buffalo, Putting It Together and Love LettersShe also co-wrote with her late daughter Hollywood Arms. The was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Screen Actors Guild this past January.
