News Brel Star Gay Marshall to Play the Metropolitan Room The singing actress will pay tribute to Edith Piaf.

Gay Marshall, who played a year-long run in the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, will go it solo at The Metropolitan March 7 and April 4 at 9:30 PM.

The acclaimed singing actress will celebrate the work of Edith Piaf. Marshall will be backed by Ross Patterson on piano.

Marshall made her Broadway debut as Diana Morales in A Chorus Line and played Grizabella in the original French production of Cats. She appeared in the Goodspeed, Paper Mill and York Theatre Company productions of The Baker's Wife and received a Drama League Distinguished Performance Award nomination for her work in the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel. . . . Her one-woman shows are titled Piaf: La Vie l'Amour and If I Were Me.
