Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere staging of Bess Wohl's Liberation has extended Off-Broadway.

The play, which officially opened Off-Broadway February 20, will now play through April 6. The piece was previously scheduled to run through March 30.

Playing the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, the play is directed by Whitney White, and stars Betsy Aidem as Margie, Audrey Corsa as Dora, Kayla Davion as Joanne, Susannah Flood as Lizzie, Kristolyn Lloyd as Celeste, Irene Sofia Lucio as Isidora, Charlie Thurston as Bill, and Adina Verson as Susan.

The work centers on a group of women who gather to talk, only for the conversation quickly to become about changing their own life and the world. Fifty years later, one of their daughters looks to the past for answers when she finds history repeating itself.

Roundabout's production features scenic design by David Zinn, costume design by Qween Jean, lighting design by Cha See, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan.
