The stage and screen star will bring An Evening With Bernadette Peters to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Bank, Australia, October 24. The concert is part of the Melt Festival of Queer Arts and Culture.
The Broadway favorite also has a few other concert dates scheduled before winter arrives: August 22 at the Koussevitzky Music Shed in Lenox, Massachusetts; August 30 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas; September 6 at Viterbo University's Fine Arts Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin; October 11 at the Associated Bank Theater Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and November 7 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Maryland.
In her acclaimed concert act, Peters performs a mix of tunes from her theatre and recording career, including works by Stephen Sondheim, Richard Rodgers, and more.
Peters received both Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her performance in Andrew Lloyd Webber'sSong and Dance. She earned her second Tony for her work in Annie Get Your Gun. She also received Tony nominations for her performances in Sam Mendes’ critically acclaimed revival of Gypsy, Neil Simon’s The Goodbye Girl, Sondheim’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Sunday in the Park with George, the Jerry Herman-Gower Champion ode to the movies, Mack and Mabel, and the Leonard Bernstein-Comden and Green musical On the Town. Prior to Old Friends, she was seen on Broadway in a critically acclaimed turn in the title role of Hello, Dolly! Peters is also the recipient of the 2012 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award.
Peters, who has also garnered a Golden Globe, four Emmy and four
Grammy nominations, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has
recorded six solo albums. She also devotes her time and talents to
numerous events that benefit Broadway
Cares. Her “pet project,” Broadway Barks, co-founded
with Mary Tyler Moore, is an annual, star-studded dog and cat adoption
event that benefits shelter animals in the tri-state area.
Co-presented with The Grammy Museum, the event came just after the Best Musical winner picked up a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album.
