Tony Award winner Ben Vereen will play a December 2 concert at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut. The Tony winner will offer Steppin’ Out for the Holidays, an evening of song and dance mixed with holiday songs. Show time is 4 PM.
The engagement will follow Vereen’s Thanksgiving concert engagement at New York City’s Cutting Room November 22–23.
The song-and-dance star takes audiences through his life and career, from his Brooklyn beginnings and his Tony-winning turn as Pippin’s Leading Player, through his screen performances in All That Jazz, Sweet Charity, and Funny Lady, to his Broadway return as The Wizard in Wicked.
Vereen performs new interpretations of such songs as “Defying Gravity,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “Magic To Do,” and “Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries” in the act that has played to acclaim across the country. Fans can also expect to hear favorite Christmas songs.
