News Becky Ann Baker to Mother Jeffrey Carlson on "All My Children" Becky Ann Baker — recently seen Off-Broadway in Suddenly Last Summer — has been cast on the ABC soap opera "All My Children."

An ABC spokesperson confirmed the stage veteran's casting as the mother of Jeffrey Carlson's transgendered character Zoe.

Baker has also been seen on Broadway in Assassins, Titanic, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Off-Broadway in The House in Town, The Sisters Rosensweig, Othello, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Shanghai Moon, The Vagina Monologues and Encores! Wonderful Town.

Other credits include the films "Death of a President," "Spiderman 3," "Spinning Into Butter," "Stay," "The Night Listener," "War of the Worlds," "Two Weeks Notice," "A Simple Plan," "In & Out" and television's "Freaks and Geeks," "Storm of the Century," "Frasier," "Sex and the City," "Law & Order" and "Oz."
