Classic Stage Company has announced that stage and screen actors and real-life married couple Becky Ann Baker (Girls) and Dylan Baker (The Americans) will lead the cast of Peer Gynt, Henrik Ibsen’s classic play about the misadventures of its title character. Tony winner John Doyle, who will become the company’s artistic director in July, helms the production.
Performances of Peer Gynt are set to begin May 11 with an official opening night scheduled for May 25. The engagement will play through June 19.
The ensemble cast will also feature George Abud, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Gabriel Ebert, Adam Heller and Jane Pfitsch.
